Information on Jaipur?
December 1st, 2009 Posted by: admin
Hi All,
I may be heading to Jaipur on contract for a lenghty period, and would like to get some information about expatriate life and the availability of European goods.
I understand that it is a fairly big city with a large amount of international travellers, but besides all the tourist info, I could obtain very little about life in Jaipur.
Do westernized department stores and supermarkets exist? What about international newspapers and magazines? Are there any bars, pubs or discos? What kind of international clubs and organizations are there? How reliable is the postal system in India in general?
Not to be misunderstood, I certainly will blend into the local life style as much as possible and enjoy it , but it is nice to know what you can get and how much support you need to organize from back “home”.

Millenium Stadium or Wembley Which is best for big matches?
November 28th, 2009 Posted by: admin
The Millenium Stadium in Cardiff is right in the centre of the city. You can leave the pub, cross the road and you’re in a 72,000 seater stadium. It’s surrounded by shops, restaurants and pubs. This creates an unique atmosphere.
No CommentsWembley is 18,000 seats bigger, but is in the middle of nowhere. There’s no atmosphere outside the ground. Plus the atmosphere inside the stadium isn’t as good as the Millenium Stadium.

How to entertain and excite a lady?
November 24th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I am taking a lady friend out in a couple of weeks in the sheffield area during the daytime. Ive known her for a few months online. Because of various committments like kids. courses and work etc, its not easy to find the time to meet up. This may well be my big chance to impress this lady who I adore. I want to find something exciting to do rather than just hang around pubs, coffee bars etc Any ideas?

Cool Young Bar in London with decent music?
September 16th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Me and my boyfriend want to go out to London tonight for a drink and a dance but we don’t really know where to go. When I go out, I generally go to Indie/Rock places but that’s not really his scene so I’m stuck for ideas! Anyone know any bars/pubs that are any good? Preferably pretty central. Thanks!

What are the top 5 must see places in New Zealand?
August 13th, 2009 Posted by: admin
We will be there for 3 weeks so plenty of time to see at least 5 places.
8 CommentsThe places should be kid friendly but we are up for a bit of adventure.
Oh and could you list some good pubs too? Thanks!

Is smoking in public places (pubs, restaurants, etc.) also banned now on the Isle of Man & the Channel Islands
July 31st, 2009 Posted by: admin
I know that England joined the rest of the UK in banning smoking in public places on 01Jul07 but due to The Isle of Man & the Channel Islands being semi-autonomous from the rest of the UK have these places followed suit or are their citizens still enjoying more freedoms in this regard?
