To purchase “non-alcoholic” beer, which can contain up to 0.5% alcohol by law, same as juice, must you be 21?
November 20th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Juice is also allowed to have up to 0.5% alcohol, because some natural fermentation always occurs.
Are there really regs saying you must be 21 to purchase these brews, or is it just that some misinformed clerks and bartenders are spreading this myth?

What is it called when you get innocent crushes on Waitresses and Bar Tenders?
November 15th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I always fall in love with waitresses or Bartenders when I go out to eat. Nothing crazy like, just seem to find them more attractive than most, is there a ****** or name for this, so I can make fun of myself?

Why is it that many bartenders have drinking problems themselves?
November 13th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Do they have a drinking problem before they start working at a bar, and get into that line of work b/c they can drink on the job. Or do they develop drinking problems as a result of being around it so much?

HELP! Where to get 40 pairs of pinstripe pants (guys AND girls)?
October 25th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Okay, so for our drumline show, we’re putting on a jazz theme. It’s supposed to take place in a nightclub, marimbas will be bars and players will be bartenders, fedoras, suspenders, the whole shebang. Seriously, it’s gonna be sick. But we’re having a major issue finding pinstriped pants. We all need to wear them and they all have to be identical. I’ve been looking all over, and have had absolutely no luck finding anything! We’re all (obviously) different sizes, so whatever we order has to be available in widely varied sizes. WHERE DO I FIND IT ALL?!?!?! Lol. We need them ASAP, so PLEASE, any websites or anything would be a MAJOR help. Also, we’re all paying for our uniforms ourselves, so the cheaper the better. Thanks so much for your help!!

I was the target of racial discrimination at a bar/restaurant, what can I do?
October 16th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I went to a bar a couple nights ago, and I, as well as several other strangers I talked to at the bar agreed that the bartender and some of the other employees were plain out ******. One of the bartenders on one floor even refused to serve me and my friends drinks with valid IDs! Anyways, I called up the bar today, and I wanted to file a customer complaint. I told the manager on duty my story, and he said nothing. No apology, no guarantee that the bartender would be disciplined. Is this normal? All he said that he will forward the request to the general manager..aren’t they usually supposed to AT LEAST take your name and number down and apologize? Please let me know, I’m really upset, and I don’t want to let this go, someoe needs to take action. I tried going through the better business bureau, and I can’t figure it out..are there any other ways to do something (aside from a civil lawsuit?). Thanks a lot.

What would be the most profitable location in Hawaii for a bartender?
October 15th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I’m 21 years old and just completed the courses at the Professional Bartending School. I am looking to relocate to Hawaii, but not sure which city is best for me. I’m assuming the Honolulu/Waikiki area would be quite profitable for bartenders considering the high amount of tourists year round. Also, which part/island of Hawaii could i find the least expensive rent? Oh,and what is the best way to get around the island, since I won’t have a vehicle when I arrive? Any input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jeff

Where would you report a bar overserving people?
September 20th, 2009 Posted by: admin
My husband goes to this bar ALL the time. That alone makes me angry but he has been coming home very late and VERY intoxicated. I mean to the point of falling over. I know he is being served more well after he is clearly intoxicated and I know bartenders are supposed to stop serving if they fell someone has had enough I believe. I mean we have kids and I want to know where to report this place for sending my husband out on the road that way and not calling him a cab or stopping him? It is because he is buddy buddy with them and I know it. So yeah..I want to turn them in where do you call. i am in the state of WI. Thanks

Does a single woman’s thinking, intelligence and attitude depend on her Profession?
September 7th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Ok, Seriously, this has been on my mind for a long time. Because, the girl in my office (Front desk-does nothing but attend phone calls and file paper) does not greet me with smile. Similar to her are bartenders. However, most other places, the women are nicer and they always greet me with smile. What could be the reason?
