How and where do i find friends in a new town?

I just moved, and find it hard to find new friends. I’m starting to feel alone, and i desperately need to find some people to hang out with. I don’t know anyone here. My co-workers are a lot older than me and usually hang out in bars, but being 20, i cant come with them. In school everyone seems to be rushing somewhere, and i cant find a chill place to just hang out and meet people. Thanks in advance for the advice.

3 CommentsAlright so I was thinking of having my b-day at a club/bar called North Beach which is kind of casual but is supposed to be nice and has lots of rooms including one thats filled with sand that you can play volleyball in. I want to wear some sort of dress, any ideas? It would be awesome if any of you know of some pretty cheap affordable websites!!! If it helps, I’m very tall and skinny so it doesn’t matter if it’s kind of revealing I want to look cute! And my b-day is at the end of April so it will be pretty nice out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Need some advice to get my love life on the right track?

I have come to a point in my life in which I need that special someone to share my life with. For many years in my younger days I have suppressed my sexualaty. Now that I now know who I am, I cannot seem to find an acceptable avenue to find other like minded people in which to date. I am not into the bar scene, and I do things which I have found very few *** people to be interested in, such as fishing, working on cars, camping, etc. (those who are are way out of my age range) I consider myself to be just a normal guy who happens to be gay, and I am very much so attracted to similar guys, but so few are either available, or even ***! I feel lost; if anyone could give me some tips or have been in my position please help!

All my icons on my laptop and start menu are gone.help?

I have a compaq laptop. When I turn on my computer, the start menu, task bar, and all my icons show up like normal for all of 5 seconds, then everything goes away, all that is left is my backround picture. There’s no task bar, menu, nothing! I turn my cimputer off and start it up again and it does the same thing. Any advice or help?? Im guessing I have a virus..but just trying to see if there’s anything I can do to try to fix it. Thanks
when I right click nothing happens =(
when I do the ctrl+shift+esc and add expoler.exe , it the task bar and start menu comes back for a second, and then goes away, comes back for a second and goes away again.

I could really use some advice about my guy friend situation?

He talks to me more than any other girl & tells me things he wouldn’t tell others. He knows so much about me and I so much about him. He texts me about 4-5x a day & calls randomly. Last 2 months, he calls for silly things, and just talks to me. Each time he calls, he gets more and more personal, which the last convo being about my family, future plans, etc. He really respects me & if I am ever mad at him, he will freak out and apologize continuously. I feel like we’re in a relationship, but we’re not. A few months ago, day after his breakup, my idiot friend asked his feelings for me & he said he liked me as a friend. But ever since that day, he has been flirting more than ever. It was since that day that he started texting &calling so much, staring and blushing. If he wants me in his life so much, why doesn’t he make a move? Am I in a friend zone? If I am, why does he flirt??? He kissed some girl on the cheek while drunk at a bar the other night. I’m so sad…what does he want??
p.s. I wasn’t at the bar w/ him. I saw pics posted later. The girl wasn’t much of a competition, but nonetheless, he still kissed her! AND, I flirt w/ him too, so don’t think I don’t encourage him. Should I let him keep texting/calling me and keep responding? He tends to disappear on fri/sat & i miss him since we talk so much the other days…what’s his deal??

okay, so i recently turned 18 and i’ve been going out with friends to bars and such. i live in a city near downtown where there are a lot of business professionals so the bars are filled with people from 18-35 generally speaking. i’m on the younger side, but there are plenty of people my age. however, i keep getting hit on by older men also. around 25-30 years old. alot of them are gorgeous, and i don’t mind it, but sometimes i feel like they might just want *** from a younger girl? although, i could be wrong. and is it weird that i kind of have an attraction for these older men, i mean theyre not that much older than me. most of them are very good looking, have good bodies, are single, working, and like i said before attractive. its just a weird situation a bit, but then sometimes i like it. i’ve even hooked up with a few, but i’m not sure if i should stop, or just enjoy myself.

Can I change my mind about selling my house?

My house has been on the market for 2 weeks. I am starting to wonder if I am making a mistake! I don’t know if this is a normal feeling or is it really that I’m making a big mistake. Me and my husband have done a lot of work in our home and compared to the properties out there, (in our price range) they need a lot of work. I love my home, I just don’t like the area and I have a small yard. Which I would love to have a big yard for summer bar.b.q.’s and get a pool. I have read the contract, there is nothing that states anything about the seller changing their mind. And the agents fee is 6% of the sale price. If there is any agents or brokers out there who can give me advice or if this is a normal feeling, please let me know. Me and my husband have lived here with our two children for almost 12 years. So we really do concider this “home” both of my kids are all for the move. Please help! Thanks!

I am currently a fresher in my university. After spending several nights up the “student bar” which is basically a nightclub at the top of the university for students, i have noticed a really attractive girls which now i can’t stop thinking about. I’ve never spoken to her when i’ve seen her there, i feel as if i can’t because she’s too good for me..but i really want to try so i can’t say i never did..my mates now know i think shes amazing, but realise i havent got the confidence to approach her (even though im normally comfortable around girls)..she’s there every week usually with her friends, and i just want her to notice me..she’ll be there later this week when im going most likely and one of the boys have said their going to help me out up there..but i need some advice off people in general. Just anything would be appreciated, i want to approach her or even just get noticed but i dont know the best way about it. Thanks for your time
